Shipping Policy

We ship 5 days  a week. All jewellery comes packaged in white paper  boxes and natural muslin cotton bags. All items are shipped in paper mailers made from recycled content. All packaging is biodegradable!

All orders include a tracking number, and delivery confirmation sent with Royal Mail signed for service.

Expected UK delivery time is 4-7 business days after your package has been mailed.

Insurance is available for an extra fee with your order. Please be sure to request this and let me know when you purchase goods so that I do not ship your items without.

We do ship Internationally. Please choose your country when checking out. 

Atypical Thing is not responsible for things lost or stolen in the mail. A refund cannot be given if the item is lost in the post.

Return & Exchange Policy

If items are damaged when they arrive, please let me know as soon as you receive them, the damaged items will then be replaced if it was our fault. 

PRICES are subject to change based on fluctuations in the metal market.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalised orders - rings made to size or engraved items

  • Intimate items - earrings (for health/hygiene reasons)

  • Items on sale

  • Items that appear to be damaged in the possession of the customer through accident or misuse

Rings that are ordered at the incorrect size will be resized at a small charge £10.00 to cover the jewellers time and the postage costs.

Conditions of return

Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

All workshop spaces are NON refundable. If you cannot make your booked session, you must inform us at least 1 week before the event. This way, we can move your ticket to another date in the future. If you fail to notify us 1 week before the booked session, you will unfortunately loose your ticket.

Everyone entering the workshop does so at their own risk and is agreeing to follow the guidelines as set out above to help keep everyone safe and happy whilst in the studio.
