NEW Jewellery Workshop Make your own Pendant - Sun 18th October 2026

£50.00

A cosy afternoon of jewellery making

As the days get shorter and the evenings draw in, come and spend a cosy morning making something completely your own. Join me in the workshop for a relaxed, hands-on jewellery-making session where you’ll learn the ancient art of wax carving and create your very own pendant from scratch.

Suitable for beginners and those with experience
Sunday 18th October 2026
10:30am – 12:00pm
1000 Trades OTP, Bearwood

Free parking onsite is available | Wheelchair accessible

This workshop is all about slowing down, getting creative and making something you’ll keep for years to come. Using jeweller’s wax, you’ll learn the traditional wax carving process used in lost wax casting, an ancient method of jewellery making that is usually taught exclusively to jewellers.

I want to share this craft with you so that everyone can create a piece of jewellery that is completely their own. No two pieces will be the same, and you don’t need any previous jewellery-making experience.

During the session, you’ll design, form and engrave your wax to create your very own custom pendant and chain from scratch. You can keep things simple and minimal, or get playful with texture, shapes and little details that make it yours.

Once you’ve finished carving, you’ll leave your wax pendant with me and I’ll take it to the casters here in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. Your piece will be cast in recycled sterling silver as standard, then finished and polished by me back in the workshop before being posted back to you or collected from the workshop.

So all you need to do is come along, get cosy and make something lovely.

A little more info

  • Your workshop ticket includes up to 3g of recycled sterling silver for your pendant.

  • Any silver above the 3g allowance will be invoiced after the workshop, before casting.

  • If you decide not to cast your wax model, I can return it to you instead.

  • You can upgrade your casting to 9ct recycled yellow gold or 18ct eco gold plating for an additional cost.

  • The postage charge at checkout covers the P&P for sending your finished cast piece back to you.

  • Your finished jewellery will be made and sent out once it has been cast and finished in my workshop.
