JEWELLERY WORKSHOP - Make your own ring - Sun 22nd June 2025

£52.00

Suitable for beginners and those with experience

Sunday 22nd June 2025

10:30 - 1:30

VENUE - LIGHTWOODS HOUSE, BEARWOOD, B67 5DP

Free parking onsite is available | Wheel chair accessible

10 spaces available

This workshop is to make your own Silver Ring using jewellers wax.

The wax carving process used in lost wax casting is an ancient method of jewellery making taught exclusively to jewellers. I want to share this craft with you so that everyone can create a ring of their own design, unique to them, that they can treasure forever!

During the session you will design, form and use textures, stamps, engraving and carving to create your very own signet ring from scratch.

You will then leave your finished pieces with me ready to take to the casters here in Birmingham's, Jewellery Quarter. All pieces in the session will be cast in recycled sterling silver. Your piece is then finished by myself in the workshop, and returned to you in the post - or you can collect from the workshop.

*Any silver above the 5g allowance will be invoiced following the workshop before casting. If you choose not to cast your wax model I will return it to you.

*You can also pay extra to have your wax cast in 9ct Yellow recycled gold or 18ct eco gold plated.

*You can now have stones set in your final piece at an additional cost.
